Olympia is a classical archaeologist specializing in sculpture. She studied first at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and then at the University of Oxford, where she completed her doctorate on statues of children in the Hellenistic period. She will be working on the preparation of the catalogue of the Palmyra Funerary Portraits.
