MIXED & AGROMIX

Landscape 2021 is an international conference where scientists from across disciplines and key actors are invited to explore whether and how diversity and diversification can contribute to a more sustainable and resilient agriculture. The focus of the conference is this year ‘Diversity for Sustainable and Resilient Agriculture’.

The title of the MIXED/AGROMIX session is ‘Mixing crops, livestock and trees in farms and landscapes for people and planet’ and is part of the theme ‘Cross scale systems’.

This session will focus on how mixed and agroforestry systems can increase production efficiency, while decreasing input use, and minimising negative environmental and social impacts, including greenhouse gas emissions. The session specifically invites participatory co-design approaches to transform agriculture towards a more mixed pathway for the future.

Registration for conference participation including signing up for masterclasses will open May 15, 2021
