The MIXED consortium meeting on 26-28 September 2023 was held in Toulouse with INRAE and AGROOF hosting the meeting. 45 MIXED colleagues met to review project progress, discuss and coordinate project activities and to initiate the development of recommendations to farmers, researchers and decision makers regarding mixed farming and agroforestry and reflect on the relationship between efficiency and resilience. MIXED also visited two farmers from the French Ariége network. At both farms MIXED were warmly welcomed and the farmers openly explained about their farms, plans, management, considerations, challenges and hopes for the future.
