The MIXED consortium meeting 23-26 January 2023 was held in Lisbon with CONSULAI and the School of Agronomy-University of Lisbon hosting the meeting. As part of the meeting around 50 MIXED participants had the opportunity to visit Montado systems south of Lisbon. Management of Cork Oak/sheep and Holm Oak/Black Pigs were demonstrated and challenges of their sustainability and modernization illustrated and discussed. The fieldtrip provided important insights to one of the well-established agroforestry systems in Europe.
