MIXED is organizing a Symposium – Symposium 3: Is mixed farming sustainable? – at the AES Conference in Edinburgh in March aes.ac.uk/annual-conference. The session will be chaired by Kairsty Topp (Scottish Rural University College). It will, according to the program, take place on Tuesday 19th March from 15.45-17.00.

Three of the speakers are from the MIXED project: Christine Watson (Scottish Rural University College) who will discuss ‘what is mixedness?’; Frederic Ang (Wageningen University) who will focus on economic aspects, and Fergus Younger (Scottish Agricultural Organisation Society) presenting for the famer’s point of view. MIXED has also invited Janet Dwyer (University of Gloustershire) to talk about policy and social aspects.
