CRIES at the 13th Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Celebration
Join CRIES for the largest Latvian children's and youth culture and art festival that will bring together thousands of singers from choirs and vocal ensembles, folk and contemporary dancers, brass band and symphony orchestra musicians, folklore groups and folk music ensembles, accordionists, kokle players, young artists, actors - members of various artistic collectives from Latvia and the diaspora.

Latvia can take pride in one of its most vibrant and cherished cultural events – the Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival. This grand celebration brings together youth choirs and dance groups from schools across the country, along with vocal ensemble singers, folk and contemporary dancers, brass band musicians, symphony orchestras, folklore and folk music ensembles, accordionists, young artists, actors, and performers from various artistic disciplines.
In 2025, the festival will mark its thirteenth edition and will take place from July 5 to July 13. It has become a cornerstone of Latvian identity and cultural heritage. This year’s program promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages – from the youngest children to senior citizens. Whether you're drawn to regional singing, the festive procession, or captivating dance performances, there's something special for everyone to enjoy.
Rehearsals and concerts of the event will take place: in Riga, in the Silver Grove – Mežaparka Grand Stage, Ostas prospekts 11, in the National Stadium “Daugava”, Augšas iela 1, Arena Rīga, Skanstes iela 21, in the International Theater Center “Ķīpsala”, Ķīpsalas iela 8, in the VEF Culture Palace , Ropažu street 2, Latvian Ethnographic open air museum, Brīvdabas iela 21 and in the Dailes theater, Brīvības iela 75.
