Article VI. DRU’s partners include universities from north, south, east, and west Europe (Porto, Toulouse, Kassel, Budapest Economic and Business University, Durham and AU) along with Rhodes University, which takes seriously its role in building South Africa’s post-apartheid rainbow nation and Deakin University, active in Australia’s move to a post-colonial era. Six non-academic organisations also make up the consortium, all committed to collaborating in activities to enhance democracy spanning from community action to international policy making.
