And more to come …
The symposium aims to bring together world-leading scientists in astrophysics, geology, chemistry, and biology for a 2-day intensive meeting to discuss theories on how life originated, viewed from different scientific disciplines. This discussion will truly bridge many orders of magnitude, from the lightyear to the nanometre scale, covering the entire range important for the origin and evolution of life.
The seminar will focus on facilitating discussions and establishing contacts among scientists from different disciplines, aiming to have an impact beyond the seminar itself. It will also facilitate the foundation of the Danish Origins of Life Initiative (DOLI). DOLI is a new initiative aimed at organizing researchers in Denmark, facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, raising funding, and inspiring young researchers to enter the origins of life research area. To spur discussions, we have invited prominent speakers who have made a profound impact on the field of origins of life research across multiple disciplines.
The program will consist of scientific talks, early-career talks and keynotes. There will be a poster session, and we hope that students and early career researchers will join the seminar as well. For signing up for early-career talks please submit an abstract before the 20 June deadline.
Full program to be announced.
