Claus Bossen (Information Studies, Aarhus University) and Naja Holten Møller (Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen) have published the report Digital Transformation and the Health Platform - A medical secretary perspective as part of the project Making data work visible.

The report was completed on the basis of a small investigation of the transition to the Health Platform (HP) at the Department of Neurology at Bispebjerg Hospital (DK). The study stems from the challenges that have occurred after the introduction of HP in 2017, where the department has, in its own words, reached a successful transition to HP after a difficult start. Therefore, the study has especially focused on what the introduction of HP meant for the department and on the change process that has led to the situation at the end of 2021.

The report presents the preliminary results, which, i.a., uncovers the role of medical secretaries as well as the interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors and other professions. Bossen and Møller also point to a number of initiatives as contributing factors to the result, and give their recommendations to other hospitals and departments.
