At the recent bi-annual conference on Nordic Science and Technology Studies (NOSTS 2023), held at the University of Oslo and organized by the TIK Centre for Technology, Innovation, and Culture, Asbjørn presented recent findings from his project during the Socio-Technical Data Studies panel. Asbjørn’s presentation explored the intersection of care and BI data work, and its implications for data-driven healthcare. The presentation raised important questions about including the concept of care in the analysis of data professionals' practices and how it contributes to data-driven healthcare.

The 6th NOSTS conference was held from June 7th to 9th, 2023. The event attracted approximately 500 participants and featured renowned keynote speakers, including Liliana Doganova from PSL University, Hannah Knox from UCL, and Evelyn Ruppert from the University of London. The conference aimed to explore the dynamic relationship between disruption and repair in the context of science and technology studies.

The Socio-Technical Data Studies panel was organized by Peter Danholt, Peter Lauritsen, Patrick Heiberg Kapsch, and Antoinette Fage-Butler. This panel delved into the methods and approaches for conducting socio-technical data studies, providing valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the field.
