The project group, 'Making Data Work Visible', organized and held the national seminar on data work in healthcare on April 4th-5th, 2024 in Aarhus. This dynamic event brought together a diverse array of researchers and scholars, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue in the field.

The seminar featured presentations and discussions from a range of esteemed attendees, including Miria Grisot, Chiara Natali, Tina W. Milbak, Naja H. Møller, Johanne Thunes, Kerin Robinson, Marja Alastalo, Iiris Lehto, Katie H. Pine, and Mie W. Christensen. Their valuable contributions enriched our understanding of data work in healthcare and propelled forward-thinking discussions on its current status and prospects.

Each attendee presented their latest research, providing valuable insights into the evolving landscape of data work. From exploring the implications of data repurposing to harnessing the power of healthcare data and information infrastructures, the seminar covered a wide range of topics critical to the advancement of data-driven healthcare.

One particularly exciting outcome of the seminar is the forthcoming special issue on data work. This publication will provide a platform for further exploration and dissemination of the research and ideas shared during the seminar, contributing to ongoing discussions in the field.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all attendees for their invaluable contributions and participation. Without the dedication and expertise of the attendees, the seminar would not have succeeded. As we look to the future, we are excited to continue this journey of exploration and innovation, working together to explore data work in healthcare.
