The employees at Franciscus Hospital gave the group a great reception.

As part of an international collaboration, the project group has been in Rotterdam (NL) to hold a project seminar from April 25th to April 26th 2022.

They first visited the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (Erasmus University Rotterdam), where Prof. Rolan Bal and dr. Iris Wallenburg provided insight into the Dutch health system and its structure. In addition, Bal and Wallenburg had invited data providers and regulators to talk about their (data) work in healthcare. The project group also presented its preliminary findings to peers at the university, where they had the opportunity to answer questions and comments.

On the second day, the group had the opportunity to visit the hospital Franciscus together with Bal and Wallenburg. Here, they were received by the CEO, who told about their work with data, introduced to their systems, and given a tour. Furthermore, the group had the opportunity to meet one of the hospital's registration professionals as well as a representative of their BI unit.

The project group would like to extend their gratitude to Prof. Rolan Bal and dr. Iris Wallenburg for the planning of the project seminar - it was rewarding in every way.
