Greetings from Vilnius!
The CRIES team visited Vilnius for an internal alignment seminar, hosted by the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore.
Last month, The CRIES team gathered in Vilnius for an internal alignment seminar, hosted by the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore!
Over two days, colleagues from all five work packages are taking stock of where the project stands and discussing how the different research strands connect moving forward.
The programme includes updates from each WP — from computational mappings and semantic infrastructures, to cultural theory, contemporary practices, aesthetics of collective singing, and ethnographic work with Ukrainian refugees.
Beyond the presentations, the seminar focuses on cross-WP discussion and collaboration: identifying shared questions, aligning methodologies, and shaping the project's longer intellectual trajectory.
Two days of discussion, alignment, and planning for the next stages of CRIES.
The CRIES Project is a transnational project led by Katrine Laigaard Baunvig, and supported by CHANSE, Collaboration of Humanities and Social Sciences in Europe, and HERA- Humanities in the European Research Area.
