Introduction of Alexander Thorsen and Fynn Riepe

New Student assistants in the Ceramics in Context project.

Alexander Thorsen is a first-year master’s programme student in Classical Archaeology at Aarhus University. He has previously studied History and Archaeology at the University of Oslo from 2011-2016.

Fynn Riepe is in the fifth year of his bachelor’s degree programme. He is an exchange student from Germany, where he studies History and Classical Archaeology at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, and he will be at Aarhus University for two semesters.

Fynn and Alexander are employed as student assistants in the “Ceramics in Context”-project. Together with Maria Thiel (student assistant), they work with a database of the pottery from the Northwest Quarter, Jerash, excavated by the Danish-German Jerash Northwest Quarter Project.
