Scalable Energy Management Infrastructure for Aggregation of Households

A novel and open ICT infrastructure for the implementation of automate Denmand Response in households has senn the light of day. The SEMIAH project has developed a generic environment for the deployment and innovation of smart grid services in households. The SEMIAH concept enable aggregation of households connected to the electricity system and will act through direct load control to remotely shift or curtaul electrical loads according to users's flexibilities. Security and privacy functions has been integratedd in all elements and new business models for electricity planert and residential customers have been designed.
