The EMBION cryo-EM facility at Aarhus University (embion.au.dk) supports state-of-the-art cryo-EM research of challenging drug targets such as large membrane protein complexes and either through contract research or collaborations. The facility has two Titan-Krios microscopes, screening micrscopes, and support functions required for cryo-EM research, including high-performance scientific computing and data storage. Using the facilties we are currently investigating several P-type ATP transporters and secondary transporters, including drug targets in drug discovery.
