2D cell culture remains an important part of early drug discovery and validation allowing the use of high throughput and high content imaging tools. However the development of phenotypic assays in 2D culture can be difficult. This project will develop advanced culture systems which present multiple ligands and adhesive signals to cells which can be used to improve development of phenotypic assays.
