The EurEd-network aims to develop an innovative interdisciplinary research framework to detect, analyse and compare the interconnectedness of discursive constructions of European and national identities in educational media. It focuses on the role of Germany and brings together Danish and international experts on linguistics, German and European studies and didactics with an interest in identity. In this way, the network wishes to respond to the severe challenges the European Union currently is facing.
The network's activities are funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark (project period: April 2018 until March 2020 – extended until March 2022).
