China-Europe Research Platform
on Chinese Migration to and beyond Europe

About

CERPE is a research platform providing new opportunities for interaction and cooperation between at the moment 135 junior and senior scholars working on Chinese migration to, in and beyond Europe. Chinese mobility is increasing and constantly changing caused by continued integration of Chinese and European economy, trade, technology, education and information. To better understand the latest developments in mobility from China to Europe we have established this research platform for scholars focusing their research on Chinese migration to Europe to strengthen opportunities for interaction. We believe that integrating diverse perspectives of sending and receiving localities will better enable us to investigate and understand the dynamics of Chinese mobility and individual experiences of Chinese migrants.
