VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE INSIGHT INTO HOW AARHUS 2017 IS EXPERIENCED

rethinkIMPACTS 2017 has already carried out audience studies at a number of Aarhus 2017 events. During data collection at these events, the volunteers have been a huge help, and have approached the task with great enthusiasm and commitment.

'BEFRI GUDSTJENESTEN' WAS WELL-RECEIVED

As part of the overall evaluation of the European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017 project, rethinkIMPACTS 2017 performed a quantitative audience study of the full moon event ‘Befri Gudstjenesten’, which was produced by Teatret Svalegangen and Aarhus Cathedral.

EXPLORING VALUE CREATION IN AARHUS 2017

At a seminar on 8 March, Markus Laursen presented the conclusions of his PhD dissertation 'Rethinking project management: A project value creation perspective on a European Capital of Culture', which he submitted to Aarhus BSS in January 2017.

AARHUS 2017 OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED

On Saturday 21 January, a spectacular procession through the streets of Aarhus from Concert Hall Aarhus to Mindet at the harbour marked the official opening of Aarhus as European Capital of Culture 2017.
